The tuning fork filters use the principle of mechanical vibration to filter or generate audio signals. They have three terminals, input, common and output, with reduced dimensions and a bandwidth ranging from 2 to 5 Hz as depending on frequency, they are used as band-pass filter or resonator in high stability audio oscillators, in various applications including decoding of multi-tones, in bleepers, coherent signals filtering, oscillators, etc...
