The general selling conditions herein govern all the contracts of sale entered into between the Customer and and RF Elettronica di Rota Franco (hereinafter referred to as "RF"), through the web site www.rf-microwave.com. Each contract is subject to the general selling conditions published on the web site at the time when the order is sent. Any change proposed by the Customer shall not modify the general selling conditions, unless an explicitly written acceptation by RF.
Language: the present selling conditions are drawn up in Italian and English. In case of translation non-compliance, the Italian language shall prevail.
All prices are meant to be in Euros (€) and do not include taxes and charges. In particular, VAT tax (where applicable) and freight costs will be specified in the order and will be calculated in accordance to the taxes in force when the invoice will be settled.
Products prices are listed in the catalogue section with volume discounts where available. RF reserves the right to change the prices without any prior notice. Prices for Customer are on the catalogue, excepted different or particular conditions accorded with RF. If prices are not listed or in case of orders of product not in catalogue, prices must be requested to RF before ordering.
It is possible to place an order on our web site, by phone, by fax or e-mail.
Orders through e-commerce web site can be placed as registered or guest customer.
All off-line orders have to contain the following information:
- Shipment / invoice address
- Fiscal data (VAT number, fiscal code)
- Products must indicate quantity an our order codes
- Payment method
- Shipment method
- Contact info: e-mail and phone
Electronic payments such as credit card and PayPal are not available for off-line orders.
Orders net minimum amount (net = taxes and freight cost not included) shall be:
- 30,00 € for private individual customers.
- 60,00 € for business customers.
Particular Quotations: Customer interested may request a particular quotation for big quantity (big quantity are meant to be for single product). Particular quotation wont'be done for quantities already quoted in the catalogue. RF reserves the right to delete an order, even if accepted, informing immediately the Customer, in case of payments already done, RF will refund the amount.
RF products are available in stock for prompt delivery, all sales are "subject to prior sale clause". In case that any ordered product is no more available, the Customer will be promptly informed and will have the possibility to modify or delete the order.
RF reserves the right to change freight costs without any notice.
Registered post (for international destinations only)
This kind of shipment is possible for small volumes (maximum 2 kg).
Delivery time: 7/9 days for Europe and Mediterranean countries, 15/20 days for the rest of the world.
For Italian destinations delivery time is one working day, for islands and hard to reach areas delivery time is 2 working days with Express service and 3/4 days with Economy service, for international destinations delivery time is from 2 to 5 working days with Express service and from 4 to 7 working days with Economy service.
This carier is available only for international destinations, delivery time is from 2 to 5 working days with Express service and from 4 to 7 working days with Economy service.
EMS (Express Mail Service) is available for a limited number of destinations and for volumes from 2 to 20 Kg. Delivery time: 3/5 working days.
For extra-EU destinations customs fees may be added, they are not included in the cart and it is not possible to calculate before, above described delivery time doesn't include customs clearance procedures.
The tracking number is provided by e-mail at the shipment time, for registered post and EMS services the availability of tracking info depends on destination country postal service, for couriers tracking informations are always available till delivery.
RF do not accept different payments from those listed below.
Ricarica Postepay (Italy only)
Postepay card number will be provided. This kind of payment can be made in every Italian post office, Sisalpay points and on-line.
Our payment gateway X-PAY is managed by CartaSi and provides a secure server that guarantees the maximum protection and privacy of transactions using a 128 bit SSL secure protocol. Accepted cards are: VISA, VISA Electron, MASTERCARD and MAESTRO.
Paypal is a secure and wide spread payment system managed directly by PayPal..
Attention: Bank transfers coming from non-SEPA countries will be charged of an extra amount of 40,00 €..
Cash payment is possible only for pick up at our offices.
Cash on delivery (Italy only)
Cash on delivery is available only for orders amount up to €1000,00 and Italy as destination. Cash on delivery has an extra charge of €5,00.
Orders that will not be paid within 20 days will be canceled by the system without further notice to the customer, in this case the sale will be certainly considered resolved.
All products in the catalogue are in stock for prompt delivery, so all orders are generally shipped within two/three working days of receipt of payment. RF will deliver to the address specified in the order and according to freight rates listed in these "selling conditions" and confirmed at payment request. Shipping costs are charged to the Customer, excepted different and previous agreements with RF sales manager.
Notwithstanding previous conditions, RF reserves the right to change shipping method, if shipment type chosen in the order presents objective impossibilities (weight or volume limits etc..).
Refurbished/used products are listed in the catalogue and properly indicated by RF. These products are sold by RF after careful tests that guarantee the same functionality as brand new products. Sale of these products is regulated by these "selling conditions", like all other products. Product wear status is described as follows:
|A+||The product is in perfect aesthetic conditions like brand new|
|A||The product shows some small wear marks but it is in very good conditions|
|B||The product shows wear marks but it is in good conditions|
|C||The product shows evident signs of wear|
|D||The product is in bad aesthetic conditions|
The Customer has to check packaging and goods when delivered and in case of damaged boxes can refuse the delivery or can conditionally sign, informing immediately RF, otherwise, delivered goods will be considered properly accepted.
In case of loss of the goods by the carrier RF does not assume any responsibility as the goods travel at the risk of the customer, therefore no refunds will be issued.
An optional insurance service is available for the customer, the total amount of the goods will be refunded in case of damage or loss (excluding events of force majeure).
RF recommends all customers to check, where available, technical parameters and documentation of products before purchase.
DATASHEET: for some products datasheets are available on the website, for the others we can provide it on request or at least the component pinout, so if interested you are kindly requested to ask it expressly on the order.
All customers are kindly requested to check the goods as soon as they received the shipment, both in terms of quantity and technical features.
In case of delivery not corresponding to the order, RF will provide to replace the goods or refund the amount.
Should the Customer do not check goods at the delivery and before using, he could not claim compensation for damages due to usage of wrong (not correspondent to requested technical features) or faulty supplied products; for example he could not claim for damages such as repair or replacement costs, any kind of intervention, profit loss, travel or temporary transfer, extra costs, etc...
Prices of products are expressed in euro (€) and all payments have to be made in euro (€), RF provides an exchange rate service in order to facilitate the understanding of prices. RF declines any and all responsibilities and does not guarantee the correctness of the exchange rates.
The right of withdrawal, as foreseen in the european regulations, can be exercised in whole or in part even without any reason within 14 (fourtheen) working days after receipt of goods. The return of goods will be possible just after written comunication and with the agreement of RF, the indications and procedure for replacement/refund will be provided after RF consent.
To retun the goods the Customer has to contact our Customer Care Service at +39 02 99489276 or write from the online contact form. Returned goods without a previous written agreement with RF will be not accepted.
All returned goods has to be sent possibly in the original package, shall not be damaged or have signs of wear. All products have to be shipped to RF at Client's care, expenses and risk (excepted for mistake not made by the Customer). The address for the shipment is: R.F. RF reserves the right to apply restricted conditions of withdrawal or refund to some particular products or to consider those excluded from the withdrawal/refund right, such as for products developed on specific request (for example for cable assemplies or special developed products).
RF will check the conditions of goods once received and will contact the Customer for the refund or replacement procedure, in any case the shipment costs will be deducted from the refund.
It is possible to change/cancel an order if it is not already shipped. Otherwise modifies, additions or corrections will not be allowed.
RF reserves the right not to maintain commercial relationship with Customer and reserves also the possibility to delete any order upon communication to the Customer.
If RF supply activity would be obstructed by force majeure, accidental events or impossibility to access to some service or materials, RF could delay orders delivery and in this case will inform the Customer that could totally or partially cancel the order. In the cases listed above, RF is not responsible.
Personal information are stored by manual or automated intruments that guarantee security and privacy of data. Personal information are used within the normal commercial activity exclusively aimed to manage relationship with Customer and not yielded or communicated in any case to third parties for purposes other than described, Customer can at any time view, modify or ask for deletion of his information.

RF web site access and usage is allowed according to following terms and conditions.
