This N-type coaxial RF power attenuator from the QAXIAL ATN-XX250X-06 series is designed for demanding RF and microwave applications where stable attenuation, rugged construction and reliable thermal behavior are essential. Rated for 250 W average input power at 25 °C ambient and operating from DC to 6 GHz, it is a dependable solution for professional RF systems, test benches and industrial environments.

The attenuator features a robust mechanical design with an anodized aluminium heat sink to support effective heat dissipation during continuous-duty operation. Its construction is optimized for durability and long-term electrical stability, making it suitable for installations where consistent RF performance is required.

With a maximum VSWR of 1.25 across the operating band and a characteristic impedance of 50 Ohm, the unit provides excellent impedance matching and minimized signal reflections. This helps improve measurement accuracy and protects connected RF equipment in high-power setups.

The series is available in 3, 6, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 dB attenuation values, with tight attenuation tolerance depending on the model. Standard configuration is N male input – N female output, with additional input/output connector arrangements available on request.

Designed for professional use, the attenuator also offers 1 kW peak power handling (5 μs pulse, 10% duty cycle), a 1-year standard warranty, and compliance with RoHS and REACH requirements. Forced-air cooling is recommended to keep the case temperature below 85 °C for optimum performance.
