This mixer is part of a category of microwave devices with a wide bandwidth, both RF/LO and IF.

They are manufactured using the LTCC technique (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic), a sort of multilayer technology, that guarantees very high repeatability and miniaturization, the main benefits of LTCC are:

Super small size , this is very important when you work with microwave frequencies
High repeatability and high performances using low loss ceramic substrates
Low cost due to high volume production

Thanks to wide IF bandwidth they can be used for up and down converters, covering a large number of applications up to 15 GHz and with LO level from +4 to +10dBm. The isolation is typically 25 dB (20 to 35dB), not so bad for very wide bandwidth devices.
