RG213/U QAXIAL – 50 Ohm low-loss coaxial cable (MIL-C-17)

The RG213/U QAXIAL coaxial cable is a 50 Ohm cable with polyethylene (PE) dielectric, designed for RF applications requiring low attenuation and a more robust construction compared to smaller-diameter cables. It is suitable for RF links and longer cable runs.

Main technical features

  • Characteristic impedance: 50 Ohm (±3).
  • Dielectric: PE (polyethylene).
  • Shielding: bare copper (BC) braid with 93% coverage.
  • Operating frequency: DC up to 1 GHz.
  • Shielding effectiveness: > 50 dB.
  • Capacitance: 100 pF/m; velocity of propagation: 66%.
  • Minimum bending radius: 50 mm (single bend), 100 mm (multiple bends).
  • Operating temperature: -30 / +70 °C.

Construction

  • Center conductor: bare copper (BC) stranded 7 x 0.75 mm.
  • Insulation: PE Ø 7.25 mm.
  • Shielding: bare copper (BC) Ø 7.97 mm (96% braid).
  • Outer jacket: black PVC Ø 10.30 mm.

Typical applications

  • RF links and antenna cables for fixed installations.
  • Telecommunications and RF equipment where lower attenuation is required over longer distances.
  • Measurement instruments and laboratory RF connections.
  • Cabling in technical environments requiring mechanical robustness and effective shielding.
