This Eudyna (former Fujitsu and now Sumitomo) MMIC has a band from 5.8 to 8.5 GHz but it can be used starting from 5.6 GHz by decreasing power output to 1W, input and output matched at 50Ω and high gain, to simplify the implementation of this device it has input and output dc-block capacitors already included in its package.
This device has been assembled and tested with the following results:
- POUT : 33.4 dBm @ 5.84 GHz
- Gain: 26 dB
- Drain Current: 1.2 A
- Gain-Source Voltage (VGG ): -0.19 V
Going up in frequency up to 8.5 GHz the behavior is identical to that in datasheet.
